Hey everyone! I am Noah Hillis and I just finished my freshman year at the University of Pittsburgh. I am majoring in finance and getting a minor in history and military science. I live in small town Pennsylvania and enjoy going to school in a city environment. I have never been to South America but have been to Mexico and Canada and loved my time abroad. I am extremely excited to spend time in Argentina, learn the langue / customs, and immerse myself in the Argentinian culture.
I came to the university of Pittsburgh because I wanted to be in the city, and I can’t say enough good things about Pittsburgh. And I believe only 1 year has me hooked to living in a city, compared to my home town of a few thousand people. This is (partly!) why I am so excited to travel to Buenos Aires which from all I’ve heard and researched is a world class city. While at Pitt I’ve studied strictly business whereas in Argentina we will be studying healthcare. And it just so happens Pittsburgh is a major hub for healthcare in the United States with UPMC (university of Pittsburgh medical center) being a major healthcare center!
I believe traveling is one of, if not the best things you can do, and when given an opportunity you must take it. You can travel the world at any age and I am lucky enough to be traveling while young. I cannot wait to see what Argentina has in store for us!
