Hello, my name is Lucas Hummel and I am extremely excited for the trip to Argentina. I am a Pitt Business student with a desired double major in Finance and Business Analytics with an Applied Statistics minor. For my career, I hope to be a quantitative analyst, however, I have experience from an internship in Highschool for supply management.

On the trip we will be learning about the healthcare system in Argentina, including the operational aspect of running the system, but also the financial side. We will see the differences between the United States and Argentina in regards to healthcare, to give us perspective on the world. Not only will we be learning about their healthcare, but we will also be learning about their culture and history through cultural visits and even the visits to University Austral.

I chose this program because Argentina always seemed like an intriguing country to me, making me want to learn more about their culture and way of life. This trip offers me to elevate my Finance major through giving me perspective on real-life finances and puts something on my resume!
