Day 4 in Korea: Under the Hood of Hyundai and Han River Cruise

Today started off very early. The Hyundai facility is about 2 hours outside of Seoul. We got an inside look at one of the biggest manufacturing plants in South Korea. They produce 300,000 cars a year at this facility, but they only focus on three models there: the Ioniq6, Ioniq9, and Sonata. We weren’t allowed to take pictures in the facility, so I have nothing to post.

After the Hyundai manufacturing tour, we returned on the bus and went to the Hangang or Han River. There, we went on a Han River Cruise, which just went up and down the river. The Hangang River is right in the middle of Seoul and divides it into two parts, North and South Seoul.

After the Han River Cruise, we were given free time, so my group and I decided to go to the COEX Mall, one of Seoul’s biggest malls. We spent most of the night shopping and looking at things in the mall. Right across the street from the mall is a Buddhist temple, so we wandered around there for a little bit, too.

After the Buddhist temple, we went back to hotel and that was it for day 4.
