Hello! My name is Rachel Cohen and I am a freshman at the University of Pittsburgh studying marketing and global management. At Pitt I am currently in MEBA (Music and Entertainment Business Association), where I will be the VP of Marketing next year. Along with this I am also in FRESA (Fresh Entertainment for Student Artists) and Pitt Program Council where I am apart of the Special Events and PR & Design committee. After graduation, I hope to go work in marketing within the music industry. I was born and raised in Yardley, PA (about 25-30 minutes outside of Philadelphia) and outside of school I love to go to concerts, spend time with my friends, and I am an avid music listener.

I am attending the Plus3 Vietnam program and I am very excited to see Vietnam. The reason I chose this program is because I was interested immediately in the program primarily focusing on sustainability, as that is something I am interested in and want to know more about. Within the program I hope to learn more about the culture of Vietnam and I have also always wanted to travel the world. I would like to gain more connections and understand the business world better, especially how businesses may differ and be similar overseas as compared to the U.S. I am also excited to meet the UEF students that we will be working with the entire trip, and learn more about Vietnam with them.
