Second Impressions of Seoul

Starting out second of Seoul was amazing after sleeping like a rock I woke up and got some hotel breakfast which was actually great. I went downstairs to the lobby to learn that we were going on a scavenger hunt. My group and I had to compete against the 3 other groups to see which two groups could find Professor Yun first. We sped walked off to take the bus to Jogyesa Temple which was actually beautiful. On the way my group merged with another to try to make sure we were both able to get the reward awarded to the first people to find Yun.

We were able to arrive before the two other groups although we were trailed quickly behind by a group that had cheated by taking a uber to the location. Since we arrived first, we were sent the pictures of the second location before the other groups, so we quickly checked our maps and headed towards the subway. We almost went the wrong way, but we fixed ourselves before getting on and headed towards the right station.

Once we had gotten on the subway it was smooth sailing. We were able to get to the Nation Museum of Korea and find Dr. Yun, who was waiting for us on a set of stairs near the entrance. Since we were first, we had time to explore the gift shop before the other two teams arrived and we listened to a live performance of some American pop songs. Once we had all arrived we were treated to some great lunch and proceeded to then after look at these amazing exhibits in the museum.

We finally ended the day with a K-pop dancing class. The instructor despite speaking only a little bit of English was great and teaching us and was also a very friendly guy. I was honestly not very good at memorizing the routine but some of our group was amazing. We got back on the bus afterwards to go home and ended freshening up before ending our night with some Korean style McDonalds!
