As someone who has not been to Costa Rica before, the focus on sustainability makes the country seem organized and very aware of its environment. It gives me the sense that they take care of their land and try to protect what they have. That comes across as responsible and pretty cool.

When I looked up their sustainability efforts, the main things I found were renewable energy and forest conservation. I did not see much about agriculture or bananas in the first results, but the energy and conservation work still shows how serious they are about the environment.

I am excited to go because I want to see a new place and learn how people live there. I am also looking forward to spending time with everyone on the trip and getting to know people better. It feels like a chance to experience something different and enjoy it with a good group.
