Hi! My name is Abby Im and I am a freshman at the University of Pittsburgh School of Business studying Accounting and Finance. I am from Delaware County, Pennsylvania (right outside of Philadelphia). I hope to earn my CPA post grad and work for a public accounting firm. Here at Pitt I am currently involved in my business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi, where I currently serve as Vice President of Operations as well as I am intended to be the next Assistant Senior Vice President for the 26-27 school year. I am also an active member in the sorority Kappa Kappa Gamma which I joined this past semester. Outside of school I love to spend time with my friends and family, travel, and try new restaurants. I am super excited to all the different traditional Vietnamese dishes while abroad.

I will be attending Vietnam for my Plus3 program. I chose Vietnam as my location because I truly felt like it would be such a unique experience and I did not want to miss out on the opportunity. The partnership with UEF was particularly why I was drawn to the program. The opportunity to make connections with the UEF students was something that no other program offered. I am incredibly excited to begin the trip to Vietnam and can not wait to learn how businesses operate internationally, and be able to bring back the new knowledge I learned to my classes at Pitt and any future jobs that I may have.
